Well done - over and out.

WELL DONE to the Oman Masariah team who won the iShares Cup 2009. Only 1 point in it! I'm gutted for Ecover. Mike & team never really recovered from the first event and were struck by such bad luck.

Tell you what... this has got me into the sailing lark. I'm chuffed to have been part of the Ecover web team. There is a round up of the Ecover action at the usual place. www.ecoversailingteam.com

The fun starts again on 10th October.

Crikey! The last race of the iShares cup is only days away. Sadly I can't make it to Spain. Rainy London instead. I'll certainly be tuning in to the Ecover team website for all the latest. Love the fact those videos are going up so quickly, Lucy's doing an amazing job.

Back again after a spell in the USA.

After a time in the US (here I am with the local ferry boat overlooking Alcatraz in San Francisco!) I'm back in Europe and very keen to see the last iShares event.

I've been loving the www.ecoversailingteam.com website for the Kiel and Amsterdam events whilst away. Much better coverage than everything else I've seen. Very comprehensive and loving the videos. Well done Ecover guys!

So, it's a shame the coverage is better than the team performance! Mike Golding and co seem to be struck with terrible bad luck. Capsizing in Kiel and crashing into Oman in Amsterdam on the press day! What a disaster. It seems that Ecover are glued firmly to the bottom of the leader board. Ahh well, I'm always one to support the underdog, so COME ON ECOVER! Let's see if your luck changes and you can pull back a respectable finish.

I may have come off lucky myself as the 5th man in Cowes. The freakish winds in Kiel must have been terrifying for the poor sod on that day!

I'm still trying to get a) time off work b) a hotel in Almeria c) a cheeky invite from Ecover, but maybe I'll be down in Spain on the 10th October for the final event. We'll see eh....
